fairy and an elf

As part of the Krk Fairy Island project, workshops were organized with children who played small fairies and elves for the purpose of photographing the natural surroundings of the island, reminding them of the necessity of nature conservation.

Folk tradition says that all people were good and honest in the past, there were no wars or grief. At that time, the fairies were in contact with the people and helped them around, helping people harvest fields, mowing grass, feeding cattle, and building houses. Over time, people have changed, the rifles have been fired, and wars began. People became less moral. The fairies were disappointed in the people and went to live far away from them. So today, the fairies live in forests, caves, beside rivers or swamps.
