Phantasmagoric is a surreal product of the imagination, fever hallucination, ability to make mystical (magical and spooky) pictures and creatures using deception.

Mijo Kovacic is one of the greatest Croatian naive artists known for his everlasting black hat with a huge rim, and painting the landscapes of Podravina and the river Drava - with fishermen, hunters, egg thieves and gold diggers, as well as surreal and phantasmagoric motifs inspired by Podravina mythology.
