winter - four seasons

The rulers of natural changes, four women as the personification of the seasons, they show their power standing by the walnut tree which surrenders to them by changing its form as the goddess asks. Repeating this same portrait at every season shows its change, and, by placing a woman's figure in the same frame, the natural beauty is emphasized.
